A crazy value pocketknife with a weird plug
I’ve already had the previous CDR version, and I liked it. This new take sounds even better and features some nice new tools. The app for editing is weirdly priced 99 cents, but it’s definitely a must have in order to quickly modify patches and creating new ones. The quality of the effects is phenomenal if you keep in mind the price/value ratio. If you want top class reverbs/delays/modulations, go for Strymon/Eventide. If you want a similar sonic landscape for 130€, this pedal will be a joy for your ears. The preset/single effects switching system is very clever, and the usb midi possibilities allow the user to have even deeper control.
One single silly thing: the socket for ac plug is really deep, so the angled plugs of a standard daisy chain, like the one spot, will not be good for powering the unit, you need a straight plug. But the unit works on 2 batteries, so no worries.
