A great dirty splash!

I love this thing!

For a 10'' splash, it's not too loud. Feels light and buttery under the stick and gives off a sound that is not bright and piercing, but a little dark, dirty and complex. It fits in the mix beautifully and doesn't jump out in an obtrusive way. Beautiful.

Nach diesem Splash hab ich schon lange gesucht! Ich hab bisher nur die konventionellen Splashes von den führenden Herstellern wie Sabian, Zildjian und paiste gespielt. Fand diese bisher schon ganz gut, aber das K Custom special dry splash 10" ist genau mein Ding! Es ist kurz und knackig und sehr, sehr trocken, echt der Hammer, genau der moderne Style für geile Akzente, der mir gefällt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut ok.

Ich habe soundfiles von diesem Splash gehört und war direkt begeistert. Ich war mir sicher das ist das Splash, was ich möchte. Allerdings wurde ich doch etwas enttäuscht. Eventuell habe ich auch ein Montagsmodell, ich hatte jetzt kein zweites zum Vergleich.
Das Splash spricht anders als erwartet nicht so gut an. Es wirkt doch sehr dick (im Vergleich mit anderen der Größe) und der Sound ja dry, aber auch nicht wirklich lebendig. Außerdem ist der Klang nicht so dark wie ich es mir gewünscht hatte. Schade, in den Files klang es so gut.

Nice splash, i love the sound, its not too loud. Its definitely more a effect cymbal than a "crash" kind of splash. If it was a bit cheaper, it would be even better but thats just the thing with all the Zildjians i guess..
