La timbrica, le armoniche, la vibrazione della cassa sono spettacolari!
tastiera molto fluida, amplificazione eccellente!

An absolute winner!

I was planning on buying the earlier model in satin finish but was hesitant and missed the opportunity… Then suddenly the high gloss version appeared on Thomann and i went for it and made my order!

First of, the guitar is absolutely stunning. It is also one of the most comfortable guitars i have ever played. My Taylor 110e has been my workhorse for about 15 years now and the Yamaha feels like a real step up.

Sound is deep and rich with very nice high ends. The earlier mentioned Taylor offers a little bit more low end, but it also has a slightly bigger body then the Yamaha. Overall the Yamaha has a very dynamic and rich sound, very much onapar with how the Martin D-18 sounds.

Haven’t had the chans to tryout the Atmosfeel system in a live setting yet, but from what i have read about online, i cant wait!

But i can already confidently say that the FGX5 was well worth the money!

Affordable classic acoustic guitar tones

Can’t stop playing this guitar. It sounds so good and feels perfect. It’s got a tiny sssing on the high E but that’ll fade in time, however, it would take wild horses to pry this guitar out of my hands and return it for that one tiny con. It records beautifully with standard bronze strings … no need for coated strings that really don’t record well imho anyway … and almost plays the chords for you.
So well balanced and light it’s a dream to play standing or sitting. Yamaha are a class act company. Their instruments are truly excellent, made to a very high standard and just the best value for money.
I’ve been playing for forty years and hate parting with money but I’m now looking at a top end Pacifica as well as another FGX as an investment.
It's just so good.
Stop thinking and just buy one.
It’ll improve your life.
