Viva la Musica VLM Diamond Dark Maple BK VN

The quality of this shoulder rest feels good, but unfortunately it doesn't suit me personally. I have tried it in many different settings but cannot get it to sit comfortably on my shoulder/collar bone as the curve of the shoulder rest simply does not fit my body shape. Part of the problem is that the rest does not have very much padding so it feels hard and uncomfortable as well. In addition, the feet are too short, even when fully extended, so for longer necks, this shoulder rest is probably not suitable. I ended up going to my local music store and trying different shoulder rests, and came out with the cheaper model from the same brand, the Viva La Musica Flex. The Flex does not have the same luxurious finish, but has much more padding and the curve seems to fit my shoulder much better.
