I really like it!
I can feel the vintage sound of it and the way it plays is fantastic. It is free blowing and it has a nice projection for the vintage classic sound of jazz in the style of Lester Young, Dexter Gordon or Coleman Hawkins. You can really feel the 40' in your sound.
A great mouthpiece that reminds me of that jazz from back in the day!
A very good mouthpiece for jazz standards and jazz tunes from 1940 - 1960 era.

Das V16 Metall ist für mich ein grandioses Mundstück. Es vereint alles, was ich in einem Mundstück suche. Ich spiele hauptsächlich Jazz und etwas Rock/Pop.

Die Beschreibung des Herstellers ?ganz in der Tradition der 40er Jahre? greift somit meines Erachtens zu kurz. Mit diesem Mundstück ist eine breitere Palette an Sounds (u.a. auch moderner) möglich.
Ganz besonders fasziniert hat mich die Leichtigkeit, mit der das V16 anspricht, sowohl in der Tiefe als auch im Altissimo.
Die Verarbeitung ist Vandoren-typisch top: Table, Rails, Rollover-Baffle ? alles schön symmetrisch und sauber gearbeitet.
Das Beste am V16 Metall ist für mich jedoch die Tatsache, dass ich noch nie so ?sorgenfrei? mit einem (Metall-)Mundstück gespielt habe wie mit diesem.
Ich kann das V16 Metall T6-Large wärmstens empfehlen.
