I bought this guitar because I'm a bit of a night owl and wanted to play silently at night. I like the size because it's so comfortable, a bit like a little parlour guitar but full scale.
Sounds nice through the headphones and beautiful through my amp, I'm very impressed.
Needed setting up, I had to straighten the neck and lower the action by shaving the bottom of the saddle. Nut was perfect but I also had to file the ends of the frets to make them smooth. Just typical stuff, if you don't know how to do these things take it to a guitar tech because it's worth it.
I've set a lovely low action, no buzzing whatsoever, it's beautiful.

Mich hat die Größe und die Platzierung der Mechaniken fasziniert. Insbesondere aber hat mich zum Kauf des Instrumentes der PreAmp mit Kopfhöreranschluss bewegt. Das eingebaute Stimmgerät arbeitet sehr korrekt. Die Mechaniken lassen sich gut bewegen. Wenn ich zu hören sein möchte, spiele ich über meinen Fishman Loudbox mini. Hier zeigt sich, daß das Pickup-System hervorragend funktioniert. Der Sound ist für das unscheinbare Instrument der absolute Knaller. In dem Zusammenhang möchte ich den einzigen Minuspunkt ansprechen. Wenn man an den Namen Traveler-Guitar denkt, meint man, platzsparend auszukommen. Will man aber am Zielort auf der Gitarre zu hören sein, muss man zwangsläufig auch einen Amp dabei haben, oder zumindest sicherstellen, daß vor Ort ein Amp zur Verfügung gestellt werden kann. Optisch gefällt mir die Gitarre sehr gut, besonders durch die kräftige Farbgebung des Holztones. Alles in allem ein Instrument das Spielfreude macht.
