Wohlgemerkt spiele ich eine Drehleier mit 34,5cm Mensur bei a=440Hz.
Ich nutzte vorher Corelli Crystal für meine tiefe G-Melodiesaite und bin nun langfristig auf die Thomastik Vision umgestiegen. Bei 35-36cm Mensur oder empfindlichen Drehleiern sollte man eher zur (scheinbar meist seltener verfügbaren) weichen Version greifen, da die Spannung bereits recht stark ist.

Anzumerken ist, dass die Oberfläche aus einer hauchdünnen Silberumspinnung besteht, die sehr empfindlich ist. Die Lebensdauer der Saite ist nicht die beste aber wenn man vorsichtig mit ihr umgeht, bekommt man einen tollen Klang zu fairem Preis.

This string sounds very good on my instrument, much better than other I have tried before. Unfortunately the metal winding is not the strongest around. With the one I ordered from Thomann, the winding was already damaged and of course it broke one day after putting it om my instrument.

Bought a second one from another shop and it only last for a few weeks. Finally I went back to the Corelli Crystal strings and they last much longer, although their sound is not as good on my instrument.
