Not an exact fit for EW-D

I ordered this along with the Thomann case to store and transport my 8 EW-D body packs. It is a good solid foam inlay piece however it is worth noting that the cut outs are not an exact fit for the new EW-D series packs, they appear to fit the older G3/4 size better. The EW-D packs will fit in with a bit of manoeuvring and are still snug, the antennas however are longer than the cut out and do not sit down into the recess and instead sit out above the foam. Overall it will do the job but its worth
noting they are not an exact fit so the description is slightly misleading

Great fit for sennheiser EW G3 transmitters.

I got the thomann carry case for this too and it fits perfectly and protects the mics well.

Das Inlay passt perfekt zu den InEar Empfänger von Sennheiser. Sowohl meine G3 als auch die G4 passen rein.
Die sind allerdings von den Außenmaßen auch identisch.
Zudem hat man Platz für jeweils die Batterien oder Akkus im AA-Format. Die zusätzlichen Fächer benutze ich für die Kopfhörer, passen rein, ist allerdings etwas knapp, ich muss schon eng wickeln.

Die Passform in den zugehörigen Koffer finde ich ok, deswegen der Abzug in der Verarbeitung. Die Außenecken sind nicht abgerundet, deshalb klemmt es etwas, wenn man nicht nacharbeiten möchte.
Aber wenn man das Inlay in die Schublade macht passt das natürlich perfekt.

Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Produkt genau was man laut Beschreibung erwartet.
