A great booth for professional-sounding vocal recordings!

pros-
If you need to really dampen the sound for your vocal work and you have a lot of free space, this booth is for you! This booth does really cut out all of the room reflections and outside noises and leaves you with a nice clean, matte sound.

I personally don't like the portable - vocal head booths because they are a bit too claustrophobic feeling. I had the free space so I went with the full-size booth. It is really spacious, I have a microphone and a small desk set up in the booth and even added a computer monitor where I can prompt the lyrics. My clients like that they have now their own private space where they can sing, it definitely shows in the vocal performances too - they feel more comfortable to fully express themselves.

Assembly is easy enough that it can be done alone!

cons-
If you need a booth to be soundproof - this booth is NOT for you!
This booth is not meant to save your neighbors from listening to you singing etc. Everything is still audible to the outside of the booth!

Some holes in the frame were slightly off, but not so bad that it would sabotage the assembly.

Bad quality and service.

Overall a very bad experience with the service thomann gave me and the magnetic buttons on the booth are just falling off. They don?t sit. If I have had a better customer experience I would have given this booth more stars.

I have no regrets with this product. Working in a reasonably live environment, I've tried everything to get control of all the classic faults to sound recording.

Thick blankets over windows, on walls, sound deadening materials everywhere, booths you stick your head in, you name it, tried it.

This booth has from day 1 provided perfect results. Not one quality rejection.

I've mod'ed it with a screen in the booth, and attached an adaptor to hold the mic. Wireless mouse in my pocket allows control of the recording terminal when working solo.

The 'window' I dispensed with, and used the additional foam that comes with it.

The PiR Light is great quality.

Yes, it takes a little of brain power to assemble, but, I did it on my own with no problems. Everything fitted well.

I can well recommend this, and the price is reasonable considering the quality - not just of the product, but of your recording results!
