Tegeler Vari Tube Compressor VTC Green

I received the VTC from thomann 3 weeks ago after a long wait and have to say that I really love it! Its my first tegeler and though had heard some examples there’s no comparison to what I felt tweeking it my self here in the studio..tried on everything really not the way in yet but after my neve portico ii master bus and neve 8803 eq and it adds this sweet and fullfills the sound and stereo field so nicely really, love the glue and the warm and that is making the eq before more rounded in hi freqs and deeper in the lows - I let it 20-30 mins to warm up first and after that just shines so my congratulations to tegeler! I also ordered the EQP-1 from them. The ‘color switch’ was a v nice new touch to it as well! I will try also the way in with api preamps look forward to it..

Once again Thomann delivery was excellent the moment they got it in they sent it over.

j'utilise principalement ce compresseur en mastering pour avoir ce son rond et chaud et en relief. Par contre une fois le son passé a l'intérieur les basses fréquences ressortent beaucoup et mange pas mal les aigues, tout ça malgré sa partie filtre qui est la pour corriger ce problème, donc l'idéal est d'avoir un eq analogique a placer avant ou après le Vari tube.
Pour pouvoir corriger cela, j'utilise la partie eq de mon SSL Fusion qui lui est placé entre le Tegeler Vari tube et mon Dangerous Bax Eq et le son est juste subblime. Donc je recommande vraiment ce compresseur a condition d'avoir d'autres machines analogiques et de très bon plug pour venir le complèter. Sinon il peut aussi être utilisé sur des instruments individuel et sa réchauffe vraiment pas mal.

Je possède plusieurs compresseurs que ça soit Dbx 160 /162 le VT7 nde Fearn etc, mais cette machine a une dynamique hors paire sans pompage."Génial"
En allumant l'appareil la dynamique était auditive , malgré que les aiguilles des vu-mètres non pas bougés ,à telle point que j'ai téléphoné à Musique Thomann pensant que les vu-mètres ne fonctionnait pas, eh non ce n'était pas le cas..
L'appareil est une bombe quand les aiguilles commencent à bouger ça fait presque du courant d'air.

Eigentlich bin ich kein Freund von Bewertungen, denn jeder hat seinen eigen Geschmack, seine eigene Vorstellung von Sound. Nachdem sich aber aktuell einige Premium Softwarehersteller in Riesenschritten auf Hardwarepreise zubewegen, wird gute Hardware wieder richtig interessant.
Der Sound des Tegeler VTC lässt sich am besten mit einer kleinen Metapher beschreiben: Werft Steine auf ihn und es kommt Watte zurück! Keines meiner unzähligen und teilweise völlig überteuerten Variable Mu PlugIns (da ist wirklich JEDER namhafte Hersteller darunter) kommt klanglich auch nur annähernd an den seidigen Klang des Tegeler VTC heran. Das gilt vor allem dann, wenn das Ding richtig fett angefahren wird. Doch selbst wenn man den Tegeler nur in eine Gruppe einschleift, ohne ihn groß arbeiten zu lassen, geht die Sonne auf! Seide in 3D! Und damit ist eigentlich schon alles gesagt. Ich ärgere mich lediglich, dass ich nicht schon viel früher wieder deutlich mehr auf Hardware gesetzt habe, anstatt tausende Euro in PlugIns zu investieren, die meinen Rechner regelmäßig an die Wand fahren. Und wer seine Produktionen auch in ein paar Jahren noch 1:1 hochfahren muss, für den kommen PlugIn Subscriptions ohnehin nicht wirklich in Frage.
Die Tegeler Vollröhre kann ich an dieser Stelle uneingeschränkt empfehlen! Das Ding rockt!
