CD player - no comments. Cassette player maybe a bit loud engine (but I don't remember what it was like in those days when it was the only way to play sound 😊). This one too does the job of playing old magnetic polarization sounds perfectly. Almost certainly very few people will use the device to record to tapes, so Dolby of any kind is unnecessary. Maybe it's missing a button that would turn on a comparable Dolby play filter during playback. As said, I myself use the device as a CD player, and the cassette player only as a tool for digitizing old tapes.

Speaking of digitization.
It may seem that 128 kb/s is a poor data rate these days, but considering that the digitizer is intended for capturing audio from cassettes to MP3, it is quite enough. I also doubt that anyone would bring a signal to the RCA inputs of the device that would be worth a higher data rate than 128 kb/s.
