Strymon Iridium Amp & IR Cab

I was mostly interested in the fender amp, but even after tweaking the ir with some York Audio cabs, i still find it weird in the mids and grainy...I compared it quite some time side by side with the simplifier DLX. The iridium sounds more polished, but the simplifier sounds better in a mix (in a live setting shines, the iridium gets lost) and is so much more dynamic. The iridium is really compressed and it wasn't for me, even though i am quite of a strymon fanboy. I would suggest trying a simplifier!
