I live in a shared apartment with thin doors. I've installed seven layers of this (four glued to the door, three hung like a curtain). Now I play music at medium volume at night, and no one's complained yet. (But it smells a bit and frays, and it arrives cut a bit roughly.)

First of all, bare in mind that u’ll get one pice of the desired size so if u buy 3m the u’ll get a 3x3 square and so on…
As u should be aware this product needs to be worked on to turn it into a good looking functional courtain but thats to be expected and it’s actually not that much that needs to be done. Buy the clamps recoemnded for hanging it, sew the lateral ends into a fold after cutting any irregularities,which were minor in my case and expected on any custom cut pece of cloth.
