the rample turbo is a useful and easy to use percusion sample player that is very handy in a modular rack , the menu is quick to browse through and easy to navigate ,with the whole instruction manual being on just two pages of info , so no massive reading job to familiarize yourself with it's workflow , the new improved turbo version is the same to navigate as the previous version , it has a smaller SD card so loads samples quicker than before and drum hits are instantaneous , the sound has been improved for the outputs and is sharp bright and crisp and there is less background noise than on the previous mk1 model , (although i didn't have any noise issues with the mk1 ) this is a great module to provide a lot of drums without much rack space and is very hands on, instantly musical and little time wasted on menu diving , so , fun to play with , the CV-able features such as -pitch - filter - bit reduction - and - freeze , are easy to dial in and add a lot of variance to the drum sounds available , you can load your own samples onto the SD card and you can play back long samples or audio files of greater length if you wish ,the firmware is easy to upgrade and i have had zero technical issues with either of the two rample's old and new alike . patch smashing is fun and there are other features like slicer that make this a fun module to play with......
summary - a lot of usability for a module of this size and quick and easy to navigate and get interesting percussive scenery , all good .

Ayant eu le rample premier du nom je peux deja affirmer que rien de nouveau n'est a noter sous le soleil (du 31 décembre ^^). C'est exactement le même, a part la couleur vite fait.

Ce qui n'est pas un mal finalement car le produit de base était très bon. Donc pour ceux qui ont l'ancien vous serez déçu. Pour le reste allez y les yeux fermés c'est un super module bourré de qualités, parfait pour le live !

Ich habe den Squarp Instruments Rample Turbo jetzt seit ein paar Tagen im Rack und bin bisher wirklich beeindruckt. Trotz der kurzen Zeit merkt man sofort, wie durchdacht und leistungsfähig dieses Modul ist. Die Turbo-Version arbeitet extrem flott – Samples werden ohne spürbare Ladezeit verarbeitet, und alles reagiert sehr direkt.
+ Bedienung & Workflow:
Die Menüstruktur ist logisch und wesentlich zugänglicher, als man bei einem so kleinen Modul erwarten würde. Die vier Sample-Spuren bieten viel Flexibilität, und Parameter lassen sich schnell anpassen. Der schnellere Prozessor macht sich wirklich bemerkbar.
+ Klang & Möglichkeiten:
Die Soundqualität ist top. Egal ob One-Shots, Loops oder Texturen – alles klingt sauber und klar. Mit CV-Modulation kann man die Samples lebendig und organisch gestalten, was besonders bei Percussion und FX richtig Spaß macht.
+ Verarbeitung:
Stabiles, hochwertiges Modul. Der Einbau ging problemlos, und die Haptik stimmt.
Fazit:
Auch nach nur ein paar Tagen im Einsatz bin ich absolut überzeugt. Der Rample Turbo ist ein vielseitiges Sample-Modul mit starkem Workflow und viel kreativer Power. Für alle, die im Eurorack gerne mit Samples arbeiten, ein echter Geheimtipp. Klare Empfehlung!
