My new internal guitar microphone

Although the installation is easy, no complicated. There is not a proper instruction of how to begin. I will suggest a video together with the advertising of the product on the web. Because the way I founded out was through the Internet. Great, Sharp sound nothing to complain at all. Good choice.

Cheap.

This pickup is very easy to install. However, it doesn’t sound very good. A decent preamp will help a bit, but it probably won’t pay justice to your guitar! Could sound good on mandolin or ukulele, I guess, but it’s not boutique quality.

Inexpensive, and surprisingly professional quality.

I got this pickup to amplify a biscuit bridge resonator guitar cheaply. It was an experiment, so I had no great expectations regarding sound or durability. When it arrived, I noted the excellent QC fit and finish on such an inexpensive item.
Well, about six years later, it is still going strong, with no issues. The sound is strong and clear, but of course needs additional preamplification to bring the signal up to instrument level. An additional DI box would likely be also needed to plug into line level destinations like mixers.
In case it needs to be said, like all adhesive piezo pickups, it is worthwhile experimenting with placement, to achieve the sound you want. Once you achieve optimum sound quality, you can fix the pickup with a more permanent glue. But have some debonder handy anyway.
Again, like all piezos, an additional preamp will help in two ways: As mentioned earlier, to boost the signal to instrument level. Secondly, to minimise the midrange "quack" common to all piezo pickups. I use a Boss GE7 stompbox, but, if you want to go fancy, there are numerous dedicated acoustic preamps out there from LR Baggs, Fishman, Radial, Boss and all of the Chinese makers.
Overall, a simple solution to amplifying certain acoustic instruments. Is it for everybody? Perhaps not, but for the right instrument, excellent quality and value. If it broke, I would have no hesitation buying another.
