Good for spoken word

I use these mics mostly in spoken word events connected to A&H Zedi mixer. PROS:
Connecting, syncing and channel changing is a breeze. Overall sound is good and clear. Mics and the receiver give you a warning in flashing red indicator when battaries are running low. Pretty resistant to feedback.
CONS:
Sometimes, for example when mics are pushed hard you get somekind of slight digital distortion sound. Hopefully I can figure this out and solve somehow. I wouln't probably reccommend to use this set if you want to record singing. Also sometimes you might get typical pop/click sequence when receiver is close to transmitting electronics.
In conclusion:
It gives you lot of freedom on (AND OFF!) stage if you get rid of the cables. Cleaner and faster setup. I recommend these for spoken word live events.

Rauschkonzert?

Zunächst mal muss ich sagen, dass die 835er Kapsel deutlich besser klingt als die SM58, was ich durch Zufall entdeckt habe und deswegen umgestiegen bin. Ist natürlich subjektives Empfinden in Verbindung mit der Stimme.
Von der Bedienung her ein wenig fummelig, man muss erst mal rausfinden, wie man die Dinger überhaupt einschaltet, und dann Kanal ändern und synchronisieren (es geht leider NUR über die Synchronisation), weil sie das Duo mit den 2 Mikrofonen auf der gleichen Frequenz ausliefern. Ähh, ja, sehr sinnvoll... Ok, wenn man es mal drauf hat, ist es einfach.
Ansonsten läuft es problemlos.

Nachteile: Handlinggeräusche, Grundrauschen wie beim Freeport von vor 20 Jahren. Beim Shure rauscht da nichts. Evtl. mal ein wenig mit dem Gain am Handsender spielen. Auf einer Live Veranstaltung spielt das natürlich keine große Rolle. Warum man trotz gummierter Aufhängung die Handlinggeräusche nicht im Griff hat, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis, also immer schön vorsichtig anfassen ;-) Samthandschuhe wären da vielleicht ganz gut. Oder der Mute-Button.

Hohe Reichweite, tolle Soundaufnahme und liegt gut in der Hand.
Auf unseren mittelgroßen Bühnen sind sie wirklich das Beste was man nehmen kann und es gibt auch keine Störungen mit anderen Frequenzen. Zum einstellen ist es wirklich easy, hat auf anhieb funktioniert.
