I have an Olds flugelhorn. My Denis Wick 2F did not play in tune above an E flat (at the top of the stave). I bought this one thinking that it would. Unfortunately, it does not. The only mouthpiece that plays in tune is the Olds one that came with it. I prefer the tone of the Schilke 14F4 though.

Die Mundstücke mit größerer Bohrung hatten auch einen entsprechend tieferen Kessel.

Klanglich waren für mich (Solo-Flügelhorn sinfonisches Blasorchester) JK, Yamaha, Bach der beste Kompromiss zwischen dunkel/weich und noch ein bisschen Kern im Ton.

Von der Flexibilität und Leichtigkeit im Spiel lag dann JK unter diesen dreien deutlich vorne.

Das Schilke-Mundstück lag von den Abmessungen (Bohrung, Kesseltiefe) sehr nah am Yamaha16F4, welches mir klanglich viel besser gefiel.
