'The guitar has arrived in the planned delivery times, well packed and in perfect condition.

At the opening of the pack the first look went to the maple top which faded the color with the change of light, really nice and certainly effect

What I think about this guitar....


The finishes are of a high standard and there are no construction errors or color smeings, all perfect.

The action is a bit high for my taste but with a good setup I can resolve.

At the sound test I immediately notice to be in front of a guitar of excellent level, with a value for money that I consider enviable.

The sound is typical of mahogany guitars, warm, it is also well defined, the pickups look really good, adjusting a little volume and tone you can get a good clean.

With the push pull in my opinion you really get a superb sound for Apeggios and to make blues and Rock with a very intriguing sound.

In Heavy distortions I have heared that It's and an explorer guitar sound great for hard rock and metal.

You have to raise a little more the highs of the amplify using the neck pickup.

In the price of the guitar is not including the case, pity!!, but the guitar sounds incredibly well.

Perfekt für Sounds, die Richtung Metallica (89-91), Madball o.Ä. gehen, d.h. die Tonabnehmer haben ordentlich Dampf -im verzerrten Betrieb richtig richtig guter Sound, der einem das Lächeln wiedergibt, obwohl man steinharter Metaller ist ;) . Brilliante Höhen, genug Schub von unten(wenn auch nicht übermäßig viel), etwas weniger Mitten. Einzeltöne und Läufe kommen damit sehr klar und mit ordentlich Biss, ohne dünn zu sein, Akkorde sind grantig ohne Ende, ohne Amp schon, mit Amp um so mehr.
Für cleane Geschichten m.E.n. nicht so gut zu gebrauchen, dafür fehlt hier die Fülle, der Bauch -man merkt einfach, dass die Gitarre auf Metalbrett zugeschnitten ist. Habe dann aber auch nicht mehr so viel clean ausprobiert, also lieber selbst ein Bild davon machen, bitte. Insgesamt fand ich den Bridge-PU überzeugender als den Hals-PU.

Verarbeitung (vor allem in dieser Preisklasse) sehr gut, bis auf minimale Unzulänglichkeiten beim Push-Pull-Poti, der ist bei meinem Exemplar leicht wackelig. Locking-Tuner sind völlig ok. Gewicht sehr angenehm leicht.
Lackierung Top, sogar der Hals hat die Sunburstlackierung, sehr schick!

Bespielbarkeit für mich Top (Handschuhgröße 10), ich habe ohne Eingewöhnungszeit alles sauberst getroffen, auch weil die Haptik des Halses, des Griffbretts und der Bridge so super ist. Sehr bequem auch für den Bauch und die Greifhand wegen der Cutouts.

Sehr negativ finde ich das Fehlen eines Gigbags oder eines Koffers (Warum, Schecter??!?), das sollte bei dem Preis dabei sein. Thomann, da solltet Ihr mal ein entsprechendes Bundle anbieten, finde ich.
So ist die Gitarre auf keinen Fall zu günstig, da ist z.B. die Chapman Guitars Ghost Fret Pro der bessere Deal, da inklusive Koffer und Straplocks.

Insgesamt wirklich zu empfehlen!

Sounds great, the neck is wonderful (after sanding the glossy finish off) and the bigger frets are nice. Much easier to play than e.g. a les paul in my opinion. It would however be nice to have some more sculpted features where the arm rests. It's also quite heavy, and very difficult to play standing up (possibly the strap pin location). Build quality was fine, but the volume knob was quite stiff and started scratching after 2 years (electronics "spray" solved it completely). It has increased a lot in price since I bought it, so it is probably not the best of deals but still a good guitar if you really want an explorer
