Mit 2 Stück dieser Schalter und einem Standard Toggle-Switch habe ich eine mit 2 splitbaren Humbuckern ausgestattete Flying-V-Style in eine äußerst flexible Gitarre verwandelt.
Für jeden der Pickups ist nun entweder der eine oder der andere Single-Coil sowie der normale Humbucker-Betrieb wählbar. Der Toggle-Switch schaltet wie gewohnt die beiden Pickups einzeln oder zusammen. Somit sind es nun 3 Sounds auf dem einen, nochmal 3 Sounds auf dem anderen Pickup, die mit dem Toggle in 3 verschiedenen Kombinantionen geschaltet werden können. Insgesamt also 27 verschiedene Sounds. Ob man das tatsächlich braucht, ist fraglich... aber haben ist besser als brauchen ;-)
Die Verarbeitung des Schalters ist gut, der Einbau war einfach. Grundlegende Kenntnisse zur Gitarren-Elektronik sollten vorhanden sein. Die Belegung des Schalters ist auf der Schaller-Webseite verfügbar.
