Nell'aprire la confezione ho notato che la cromatura delle meccaniche è estremamente scadente e su due se ne è addirittura saltata, purtroppo non ho testato l'articolo in quanto lo subito contestato e rispedito.
Io mi vergognerei di mettere in commercio un prodotto così poco rifinito con tanto di marchio "made in Germany" se il controllo qualità non funziona.
AGGIORNAMENTO
Il prodotto mi è stato prontamente sostituito con uno nuovo e devo dire che questa volta mi è arrivato senza difetti. Dopo il montaggio e qualche giorno di assetto ho notato che il basso mantiene per diversi giorni l'accordatura, anche in situazioni di cambio brusco di temperatura. Le regolazioni sono precisissime e per cambiare la tonalità bisogna agire parecchio sui chiavini. Prodotto consigliato.
NUOVO AGGIORNAMENTO
La cromatura se ne sta staccando a distanza di scarsi due anni.

Excellent quality tuners

I had some bad experiences with several brand new sets of of Schaller tuners a couple of years ago. I got the impressions that their quality control was slipping so I've only purchased Gotoh for my workshop for the last 1-2 years. Until now. The Gotoh tuners I wanted were out of stock. I had a customer waiting so I decided to give Schaller another chance. After all, they served me well for DECADES before I had a couple of bad experiences.

I'm happy to say that Schaller are back on track. These are TOP quality tuners and I highly recommend them. The customer I built the bass for was also VERY happy! :)

Silky smooth and rock steady tuning

Appearance is very good, nice and shiny with no flaws in teh chrome finish . Mechanism is extremely smooth, no catches detectable over a
whole rotation. Once tuned, my bass has been spot on for days on end, only needing adustment as room temp has changed (middle of cold spell in UK). Have a similar looking set of cheaper tuners on another bass and one can definetley feel the difference. These tuners ooze quality

Stimmstabil mit angenehmer Übersetzung

Da ich Tag ein Tag aus Lemmys Songs auf dem Bass spiele hat es mein Equipment denkbar schwer mit mir. Die Schallermechaniken haben den den Härtetest mit Bravour bestanden und sind bereits auch auf meinem zweiten Bass. Abgesehen von der schönen Optik und Verarbeitung fällt auf, dass ich nur noch selten Nachstimmen muss und die gelungene Übersetzung der Mechaniken macht auch die Feinabstimmung der Seiten leicht.
