This is a great ligature. I bought it as a replacement for my Jody Jazz Super jet which came with the metal ligature which scratches it...
Quality is top notch, and the sound is vastly improved, especially in the middle register. I prefer it with the cradle exposed, and the sound is sharp (because of the mouthpiece) but with much more core to it compared with the original metal ligature... I would definitely recommend it...Rovner makes great ligatures, been using them for years on the clarinet for classical setting and now for gigs on alto sax...

En remplacement de ma vieille ligature Berg Larsen d'origine. Le serrage avec une seule vis est très appréciable et le système maintien parfaitement l'anche. L'ensemble sonne sans défaut et semble produire un son droit très séduisant. La ligature parait un peu massive au premier abord mais ne gêne absolument pas une fois montée sur le bec.

Pour le prix, je ne vois vraiment pas ce qu'on pourrait vouloir de plus.

Ich habe die Ligatur für mein Meyer Altsax Metallmundstück ausgewählt. Die Verarbeitung ist top. Aber: weder dort noch auf dem Berg Larsen (Alt) passt es: die Ligatur ist zu groß. Ich habe es dann probeweise auf das Berg Larsen - Metall (Tenor) geschraubt. Da passt es zwar vom Umfang des Mundstückes; das Blatt lässt sich aber nicht zuverlässig unter der Ligatur zentrieren. Die angewinkelten Kanten des kleinen "Blechstapels" liegen genau auf den Kanten des Blättchen auf; jedenfalls sollten sie dort aufliegen. Das ist aber ein labiles Gleichgewicht unter Federspannung: der Blech-Part kippt entweder links oder rechts am Blättchen vorbei. Das ist mir zu fumellig für die tägliche Montage.
