This is the second Risa Tenor Ukulele I bought to do things with the manufacturer did not intend ;>) I replaced the ukulele strings with 4 Earnie Ball super slinky electric guitar strings ( 42,32,24w,16). They are E<A<D<G strings, shortened and re tuned to D>G>B>E same as a Baritone Ukulele or the 4 highest strings on the guitar. The result is a great little mini electric guitar easy to carry around, even in a backpack. The sound from the 2 Humbuckers is clean and beautiful. The adjustment range of the individual tone controls is wide and varied. The intonation on the fret board is accurate. This instrument and the T-Style one are now at the top place in my collection of numerous Ukuleles. If it breaks (unlikely), I lose it in transit or if it it gets stolen I would buy another one right away. Thank you RISA :>)
