Ottimo subwoofer a un prezzo competitivo

L'ho acquistato come integrazione alle mie casse monitor Eris 4.5 e si integra alla perfezione. Buono il filtro LPF, HPF e l'inversione di polarità. Design compatto e molta potenza. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Unico vero difetto secondo me: non ha una funzione mute/bypass frontale, l'unico modo è azzerare il gain, ma è scomodo da raggiungere. L'interruttore di alimentazione disattiva anche le casse monitor.

Great product according to specs on paper, the reason I bought it, but I should have done a bit of research beforehand instead of blindly trusting the brand’s reputation.
Seems like this Eris lineup suffers from high pitched ground noise, VERY noticeable after 4”-5” after turning the speaker on, my unit was affected as well, but Presonus refuses addressing this issue telling customers that “it’s by design” or that it is “due to the high fidelity of their products and that on other basic products those frequency are just not delivered by lower quality speakers” (dafuq?)
Google about it before purchasing this and/or the 4.5 Gen 2, some say that Gen 1 is not always affected.

Worth every penny (or cent where I come from)

I was looking to upgrade my entry level home studio (that I also use - to be fair, primarily use - for gaming and music consumption). With SSL2+ and JBL 305P MkII, I was just looking for a lot more bass. Since the JBL sub is a lot, lot more expensive, this seemed to be a good choice. And it was! It does the job, you can set it up the way you want, it has a decent choice of settings. Since I live in an apartment, I only needed a bit of bass to balance my sound (happy to be considerate, dear neighbours), so I have it cranked down quite a bit, but it still delivers bass you can hear and feel and most of all, enjoy. BIg thumbs up for serving my needs more than good enough at a very, very reasonable price (especially compared to other subs)!

Also, if you're a moron like me, and 'accidentally' switch the AC setting (voltage) while plugged in and burn the fuse, there's a spare one under the power socket. I was amazed!
