Very nice C and G string, decent D and A

Used the strings on a 1/4 size children violin. Initially, in the first two weeks they did sound like rubbish. Once played in (but it takes a while), they are very nice sounding strings. Especially the lower ones.

On the student instrument (bargain bin at second hand store, but nice finishing) we use, they match nicely. Our 1/2 violin has dominant strings on it, which do not sound that nice (partially due to the violin).

Wrapping at the end is a bit thick for a wittner tailpiece in 1/4 size, so some chafing occurred when they were inserted.

Definately worth the price Thomann charges for them.
