I needed a bass amp that is light and small enough for me to carry on public transport or on my bike to café and pub jams.
It also needed to be powerful enough to keep up with the volume of an acoustic drum kit.
I have only had it a few days and tested it at home. It sounds great and seems to me that it’ll fit the briefing nicely. I’ll be using it in a café and pub with drummers, guitars, singers etc, in the next few weeks and will update.
I don’t play with hard hitting drummers, so have no worries about the amp fulfilling my needs. If, on the rare occasion I play with a mic’d up band, I’ll still use this as a monitor and DI it through the PA.
This is all to be confirmed as I haven’t used it outside the home yet… but I reckon it’ll be absolutely fine 😎

Die Entwicklung vom BG 100 bzw. 110 zum BG 120 kann sich sehen und vor allem hören lassen! Mehr Power, mehr Tonumfang, mehr Tonstabilität, ein großartiger 5 Band Equalizer, der jede Standortherausforderung meistert.
Ideal für Proben und Clubgigs - klein, leicht und leistungsstark, besonders auch für Kontrabass geeignet.
Und wenn man dank eines Speakon Ausgangs ein Phil Jones Cabinet C2 oder C4 oder auch ein anderes anschließt, klingt der BG 120 Bass Cube Pro wie ein großer!

Excellent Ampli compact

Fatigué de porter mon ancien combo Hartke (A100 - 24 Kgs), j'ai trouvé cet ampli qui associe à la légèreté l'efficacité. Il ne pèse que 7,5 kgs, je l'emmène à chaque répète, ma basse (Cort Rithimic V ou Marcus Miller V5, 5 cordes toutes les deux) dans une main et mon ampli dans l'autre. Je joue dans différents groupes aux styles variés: rock, blues, disco, jazz. Il convient également pour des petits concerts dans des bars par exemples. Il dispose d'une connectique complète et permet le raccordement d'une pédale d'effet dont on peut faire varier son volume (ce qui est très rare sur les combos et les amplis). L'égaliseur est précis. Le son produit est puissant et profond. J'ai senti ses limites pour les concerts en extérieur, c'est bien normale compte-tenu de sa taille, je lui ajoute ajoute alors le baffle (Cabinet) PhilJones C2 de 200 Watts..... C'est excellent !!!!
A acheter sans hésitation.

ME HA SEDUCIDO

Me permite conectar a la vez pedales, bajo, música desde el móvil para tocar con orquesta... su tamaño y precio son una novedad, pues mi anterior bajo, de 100 watios era realmente un armario incómodo de transportar. El sonido es limpio y aunque se dejen los controles en cero, suena realmente con una gravedad que me encanta. Lo he dejado al lado de la tele y con un cable de audio y el bajo, estoy consiguiendo que el tiempo pase volando. Realmente ha merecido la pena. Pronto lo probaré en un ensayo, en un espacio enorme, junto con dos baterías, pianos, etc... entonces podré tener más información.
