PT-72 Symphonic low end

For some time I had been trying to match the perfect mouthpiece with my Mira Norwegian Star 283B. This sounds straightforward, but I have found it problematic.
I was able to discuss Perantucci mp options with Bob Tucci via email (and what a great guy he is!). He recommended the PT-72 for me in my orchestral work.
The manufacture quality of the mp is extremely good.
Compared with other makers the price is better value.
The mouthpiece itself is great in the low register. Low notes speak easily. The middle register is strong with a wide and bold sound.
The upper register is harder, but with practice it does come.
The PT-84 would suit someone, I feel, that is playing a compensated EEb in a brass band.
However, the PT-72 should be considered by anyone using an F or Eb tuba in a wind band or orchestra, where they are looking for a good symphonic low end.

warmer Klang, angenehm zu spielen

Ich benutze dieses Mundstück an meinen Es - Tuben.
(Yamaha Tuba YEB-321 S, >100 Jahre alte Schediwy Tuba)
Mit beiden Tuben ist ein warmer voller Klang zu erzeugen.
Dabei ist das Spielen, auch über längere Zeit, durch den abgerundeten Rand sehr angenehm.
Die Höhe erfordert etwas mehr Kraft als beim Roger Bobo Mundstück von Yamaha, welches ich ebenfalls einsetze. Beide Mundstücke sind wirklich Spitze.
Das Perantucci PT-72 ist für mich jedoch das beste Mundstück, das ich bisher an meinen Tuben verwendet habe, da es meiner Klangvorstellung am nächsten kommt.

Buena boquilla todo en uno

Buena boquilla para cualquier tuba.
Buena sonoridad y proyección sonora para cualquier tuba, do, fa...
Aporta un timbre "tradicional" al instrumento y su uso es cómodo y fácil de utilizar tanto en registro grave como agudo. Compensada en todos los registros.

Aber bei Mundstücken ist es ähnlich wie mit Schuhen, entweder sie passen oder eben nicht.
In meinem Fall wollte ich es auf einer B&S Symphonie nutzen, auf der ich aktuell ein Tilz M9 spiele. Im direkten Vergleich hatte das PT-72 zwar mehr Bass aber der gesamte Klang wurde etwas ,,dumpf?? was mir nicht sehr zugesagte. Die Verarbeitung ist gewohnt gut !
