Wow! Fantastic piece of equipment!

Sometimes, you discover a piece of kit and wonder, "Why has nobody done this before?" The in-built rechargeable battery removes the need for installing a separate battery - very clever. I fitted this pre-amp to a dulcimer, rather than the ukulele it is marketed for. I purchased a 40mm piezo pick-up to replace the one supplied with the unit, which would have been too long for the short saddle of a dulcimer. It works fine. The tuner display is small but clear, and pressing the tuner button automatically cuts the signal out to the PA. NOTE: unless you are a skilled woodworker, the fitting would be best left to a luthier. Excellent service from Thomann, as always in the past. I would thoroughly recommend this piece of kit.

Hab das Tonabnehmersystem in einer Bausatz-Konzertukulele (harley Benton) verbaut.
Insgesamt macht das Teil auf mich einen wertigen Eindruck. Der EInbau war völlig problemfrei dank guter Anleitung.
Das System liefert ein klares, störungsfreies Signal an der Buchse.
Zur klanglichen Qualität kann ich nichts sagen, da ich da völliger Laie bin und keinerlei Vergeichsmöglichkeiten mit anderen Tonabnehmersystemen habe.
Ich bin sehr zurfrieden mit dem Teil, es hat meine Erwartungen definitiv erfüllt und übertroffen....

Très bon préamp

J'ai eu l'occasion de tester un guitalélé de la même marque équipé de ce préamp, j'ai trouvé le son bien équilibré avec des réglages bass mid et treb très efficaces avec un look assés sympa. Après un montage relativement facile, je retrouve cette qualité sonore sur mon guitalélé, il s'agit d'un Luna Uke Tribal 6. J'ai donc remplacé le piezo 4 plots qui était trop petit par un plus grand. Le son est vraiment très bon et j'en suis très satisfait, c'est propre, pas de souffle ni bruit parasite. Reste à voir si la charge de 5 minutes pour 10h d'utilisation tiendra ses promesse dans le temps. En attendant, c'est bien mieux que d'avoir à remplacer des piles.
