The instrument has excellent finish. I love the fast neck. Six strings may feel weird for a classical cellists but the capabilities they offer are worth of the while. Great bass and violin sounds on additional strings. The instrument has a lot more possibilities adjusting the tone of the instrument than traditional electric cellos. However the line sound is still not a cello sound. Works great on band recordings but would not play it on solo or on professional acoustic recordings. Instrument sounds incredible acoustically though. Being without acoustic body it plays really silently.
