Fabulous for kids

I was looking for a creative gift for my nephew and while wanting something musical, I wanted something that didn't need batteries, was easy to make noce sounds and wouldn't be too annoying for the parents... This was the solution!

I got it delivered to my work so i could check it for sound and sharp edges etc and as soon as I got it unpacked I just couldn't stop playing it - it is an open-plan office and soon there were lots of teammates around curious and at least one of them ordered one of these for his own kids.

Duly sent to the intended recipient, he tore the packet open and spent a good while plinking away. Achievement unlocked!

All in all a small but great fun instrument to play whatever your age but especially good for kids.

Der Klang ist sehr angenehm (allerdings auch etwas leise).

Meine war aber bei der Lieferung etwas verstimmt (c'' c#' a' a# f' e' e''), das lies sich aber relativ einfach korrigieren.

Der rote Lack ist nicht besonders schlagfest - ein bisschen wo dagegen stossen und dann blättert er schon ab. (Ich denke, wenn man diese Kalimba viel benutzt, dann wird an den Kanten nicht viel von der roten Farbe übrig bleiben.)
