Good for beginners

As a professional Classical bass player I bought the book to start learning on how to build good walking basslines. There is the main principle explained and for begginer it is OK. Though I could not find any further directions and explanations or ideas about how the bassline should be expanded. Also there were no theory explanations, which might leave a student a bit lost If looking for a reason of a certain decisions made in the bassline. I would recommend this book for begginers theory and technically wise.

Un très bon livre pour débuter

Avec une base de bassiste, ce livre m'a très bien accompagné dans mon apprentissage de la contrebasse.

Une première partie technique permet de prendre une bonne technique.

Suite à laquelle un apprentissage progressif par des morceaux de plus en plus complexes.

Pas encore arrivé au bout, je ne suis pas un bourreau de travail... Complet, une bonne quantité d'apprentissage!

Diese „Bass-Schule” ist sehr verständlich aufgebaut, wenn man Englisch kann!
Die Notationen sind recht einfach, so dass man auch mit nur mäßiger Griffbrett-Noten-Routine sehr gut zurecht kommt.

Die Tipps sind essentiell und schaffen zum schon erworbenen Können eine Horizonterweiterung zum eigenen Spiel.
Manche Bass-Lines führen zu einer guten Sound-Auffassung und klingen auch typisch nach Ron Carter.

Zusammen mit den Play-Alongs eine echt gute Sache um weiter zu kommen.
