These music books from Music Sales are quite good, I have the Black Album one, so I knew what I was buying when I got this one. All Music Sales songbooks have both a standard notation and tabs, which means you get two types of information, what you are playing and how to play it. That is great because too often guitar players tend to work out tricks to get around obstacles in playing, by using tapping for example. This books will give you extra information, like when to use palm muting, or where to use tapping, and so on. Great book for those who are still in the learning phase and haven't developed a good ear to work songs on their own, but also for those more advanced players who want to learn all details about Metallica's playing during their golden age. Also, always prefer standard notation+tabs, rather then just relying on the latter, usually found on the net.
