Meinl Stick convert

After years of stricktly playing Vic Firth, I've become disapointed in their quality and longevity over the past few years. I decided to give Meinl a try. Their 5A sticks are slightly heavier than the Vic Firth 5As, but not so much that it impacted my play style. Also, they seem to be much more durrable. Rim shots arn't a problem with them. Excellent sticks.

Einfach mal probiert - Bin überzeugt

Jahrelange (seit über 20 Jahren) spiele ich mit Vic Firth Sticks. Ich habe über die Zeit immer mal verschiedene Hersteller (pro mark, ahead, Vater...) ausprobiert, bin aber immer wieder auf Grund der Haltbarkeit und Verarbeitung zurück zu Vic Firth gewechselt. Um einfach mal etwas Neues auszuprobieren, habe ich mir diesmal die Meinl Sticks bestellt und bin total begeistert. Spielgefühl ist super, die Sticks sind von der Haptik etwas rauer/trockener (sprich nicht so glossy) wie die Vic Firth. Echt tolle Sticks made in Germany. Kann sie weiterempfehlen und sehen mit dem Meinl Schriftzug auch noch richtig gut aus.

Très bonnes baguettes 5A , bien équilibrées et agréables en main. Le feeling est naturel, avec une bonne réponse sur les peaux comme sur les cymbales. On sent une fabrication sérieuse et régulière, avec des paires bien appairées en poids et en son.

En jeu, elles sont légèrement plus “denses” mais aussi plus solides que certaines autres 5A comme Vic Firth, ce qui donne un peu plus de présence sans devenir fatigant.
