They sound great, but sadly the top cymbal can flip backward very easily while playing it because it's very thin.
So when it happens, you need to stop, take out the top cymbal and bend it back to its original shape. Very annoying, and I suspect it might mean that this cymbal will not last a long time...
To avoid flipping it you have to be careful, and gentle while hitting it.
It will take some muscle memory to learn to play this cymbal gently even at speed.
Also the price is so expensive! Really really expensive cymbals :(

I love this stack. I had a 12" Sabian stack that I made before, and it sounded decent, but it was missing something for me. Playing this stack, I see exactly what Matt sought to create, and Meinl & Matt knocked it out of the park with this one!

Depending on how you tension it, this stack makes for great texture and effects in your drumming, offering you a controlled response, with just the right amount of dryness! 10/10

Now I have to check out the Temporal Stack 1!
