Exelent nut file with oval edge

This is my second type of nut files that I bought. The first one was Göldo Double Edge Nut File which turned out a straight edge like this |_|, which is not the preferred bottom for the string to lie in.

Maxparts SF series nut files are with U type edge on both narrow sides and flat no grinding surface on the sides. You will need also a V-shaped little file to form good groove for the strings.

File works well and aligns es well with 10s and 10.5 strings. No issues. But you need to know what you are doing.

Löst das "G-Saiten"-Problem

Habe mir die Feile für eine Gibson SG gekauft. Wie viele andere, ähnliche Modelle ist die G-Saite nicht stimmstabil, weil sie in der Sattelnut klemmt. Ich konnte die Sattelnut mit dieser Feile etwas weiter aufarbeiten. Vorsicht ist geboten, weil man nicht tiefer, sondern breiter werden will. Lieber wenig feilen, dann testen und ggf. nochmal nacharbeiten, mit leichtem seitlichen Druck. Es hat einwandfrei geklappt, die Gitarre ist jetzt tatsächlich stimmstabil! Mit herkömmlichen Feilen oder Schleifpapier ist hier nichts zu machen, 0,16mm (passend für Standard-G-Saiten) ist halt sehr schmal, ich habe da kein passendes herkömmliches Werkzeug gefunden. Von daher eine gute Investition für Musiker, die ihr Instrument gerne selber warten und einstellen.
