Truly Loud Rock
I've had this amp for a couple of months now and wow, it sounds awesome!
Louder means better sound here so if you want a quiet good-sounding tube amp this is not really the best option, but if you don't mind turning up the knobs then this is pure golden.
It lacks a reverb knob (unlike the DSL series) and the 5Watt switch sounds louder than 5Watts.
The sound is definitely richer in the 20Watt mode but sounds good in the "quieter" mode as well.
The sound is exactly what you'd expect from a Marshall tube amp.
The gain is not very high so if you like a lot of distortion in your sound you definitely need an overdrive pedal, although you can get a good amount of different sounds from the amp's knobs.
Just keep in mind that it is loud!
