Nicht nur was fürs Auge

Ich bin Nachwuchsbassistin und habe etwas gesucht, was nicht zu teuer ist, geil klingt und schick aussieht. Der Bass von Marcus Miller erfüllt das alles mega. Die Maße des Basses und des Griffbretts sind für mich ideal, den Sound finde ich für einen Shortscale top. Also für mich ein super Bass, den ich auch noch später spielen werde...Hab jetzt nur noch Klamotten, die zu mindgrün passen ;-).

Good sounding bass, questionable build quality

+ This bass sounds good with the stock strings, but also with flatwounds.
+ Stays in tune decently
+ Sounds clean and controls are what you'd expect
+ String-through option is appreciated as it helps amplify what a short-scale bass is best at, sounding huge.
- Frets are sticking out so much if you attempt a slide you WILL cut your fingers. It will need some serious sanding or a re-fret which bites into what is supposed to be an affordable bass. I have another bass that cost 1/2 of this and it has 10x better fret job.
- The control pots were quite loose and you can pry them off with minimal force.

Amazing instrument

It's been just over a month and a half with this bass guitar, and I can confidently say it's fantastic. Visually, it's stunning; the finish is impeccable, the color is beautiful, it feels great in my hands, and I'm a big fan of the glossy fingerboard. As my first bass, it's been a revelation – I'm actually enjoying playing bass more than guitar right now, despite my guitar background. I did notice a bit of neck dive initially, but I've since adjusted and it's no longer a concern. Now I can say bass guitars are cool too, not just electric guitars 😀

Top-Sound und Qualität in jedem Detail

Ich war schon lange auf der Suche nach einem Bass, der mir als Gitarrist vom Handling mehr entgegenkommt, als die klassischen Mid- oder Longscale Bässe. Über einen Freund wurde ich auf die Bässe von Sire aufmerksam gemacht - und ja, das war ein super Tipp.
Bei der Zusammenarbeit von Sire und Marcus Miller ging es immer um 2 Faktoren: Sound (live und Recording) und Verarbeitungsqualität. Und genau in diesen Disziplinen punktet der Bass.
Allein schon das kleine Detail, dass die Drehregler nicht aus Plastik, sondern aus Metall gefertigt sind, spricht für sich.
Der Hals ist auf dem Griffbrett lackiert und auf der Rückseite matt, so dass man gut die Hand bewegen kann.
Die Bünde sind rund geschliffen - fühlt sich gut an und der Sound, obwohl ein "kleiner" Bass, deckt mit den hochwertigen Pick-Ups alles ab, was man bei anderen Marken unter der Bezeichnung J-Bass oder dem P-Bass hörtechnisch erwartet.
Ich bin happy!! Klare Kaufempfehlung.
