As i wanted to build a new bass FX board as compact as possible for my Eventide Pitchfactor, Timefactor & TC Electronic Nova System, i used 3 pairs of these to splice them into 3 single cables, all with angled plugs at each end.
These have got to be the most compact MIDI plugs i've ever seen AND last but not least : the pins have the right orientation for the pedals mentioned above
The 12mm deep plug head really allows mounting the pedals VERY close together

But on my Novation Peak it points upwards, which looks stupid. So check the orientation of your midi ports before buying. If you want it to point down, it should have the 5 pins on the bottom.
