really love these bongos.
great sound, decent skins and light weight, compared to other bongos.
would highly recommend these.....great value for money.

A very good instrument for the Orff instrumentarium

I use this instrument in the Orff instrumentarium and have no previous knowledge of it so my review is obviously of limited interest.
Excellent make. It was not tuned when it arrived and the key had disappeared between layers of the packaging box, so I had a moment of dismay. Tuning seemed endless... But ultimately the tones were most pleasing, sharply contrasted, so ideal for much more interesting ostinati than with just one drum/ tambourine. So don't give up tuning: the skin does not break.

Ich schreibe diese Bewertung Jahre nach dem Kauf (4 Jahre), weil sie hier in meiner Liste nicht bewerteter Käufe auftauchen. Das heißt aber auch, dass ich nach diesen Jahren wirklich bewerten kann.
Die Bongos sind auch nach 4 Jahren noch top, die Kinder lieben sie und sie sind immer zentraler Bestandteil der Musikrunde.
Der Sound ist klasse, hell (Höhen) und warm (Bässe) zugleich, nicht blechern, nicht scheppernd.
Ein Werkzeug zum Stimmen liegt bei (Schraubenschlüssel).

Die Verarbeitung ist gut, von außen ist nichts zu bemängeln. Schaut man von unten in die Bongos rein, dann sieht man Klebereste und einige Späne, aber das ist der Blick unter die Motorhaube und vernachlässigbar. Es riecht nicht nach Kleber (auch zu Beginn nicht, nach 4 Jahren schon gar nicht mehr).

Wir würden die Bongos wieder kaufen.

Loud enough to player along with a drum kit.
Very solid.
Always good idea to tune before every rehearsal or show for optimal sound. I use B on the big one and E one the small one.
