The D string sounded dead on my instrument

All strings in this set sounded good except for the D string, at least on my violin. Maybe they’ll work great on your violin, but the D string sounded very weak, almost like it was covered by a pillow on my instrument. But- the other three strings were wonderful. I replaced them with a set of Pyramid Gold violin strings, and the pyramid set sounded 100 percent better, and at 30 euro cheaper !
