Great sound, but serious power issues — batteries don’t work!

The sound quality is excellent — clear, powerful, and professional. But there’s a serious issue with power. I tried the included batteries, my own ones, and even expensive Energizers — none of them work at all. The device only works if you connect an extra power source through the USB-C port or another phone. When the phone goes into sleep mode, the power drops and you have to lower the volume a lot. Apart from that, everything works and sounds great, but the fact that it doesn’t run on batteries is a big drawback.

Good sounding unit, it’s stereo ( it’s little brother isn’t) the unit feels good in the hand, all connections are tight and positive, I’m a synthesist and using this from a stereo out from a mixing desk, going to an iPhone 16 Pro, I had some issues at first with my phone, for example I’d plug it into the unit and a second or so later a pop up on my phone “are you using a charger or an accessory” but if only popped up so missed it! Oops, repeat , but then it never popped up again, anyway tried recording, it had recorded my phone mic, eventually realising by accident that you have to connect everything up, then open the camera on the phone, that way your audio from your mixer will record, if you open your camera then connect the unit ,it will record your mic.

If you want to livestream with your phone etc from a mixer it’s good, experiment with setting levels on your mixer etc as it’s easy to distort the unit,

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem I/O Device für's iPhone und habe es mal zum Probieren gekauft, da ich schon öfter von der Marke in diesem Sektor gehört habe.
Angekommen, ausgepackt und am 13er iPhone angeschlossen, musste ich nichts weiter tun als in der Fotoapp die Videoaufnahme zu starten und der sound wird über das externe Device aufgenommen.
Stromversorgung erfolgt über's Telefon, aber zur unterstützung kann man auch Batterien einlegen.
Die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind für ein so kompaktes Gerät vielfältig und die Anordnung der Bedienelemente ist meiner Meinung nach sinnvoll und intuitiv.
So weit so gut, es tut was es soll!
Leider ist der Preis für eine so eine simple externe Soundkarte für mein empfinden grenzwertig und fühlt sich insbesondere in Anbetracht der vergleichsweise billigen Verarbeitung nicht ganz gerechtfertigt an. Es kommt mir eher so vor, als ob man eben einen kleinen Aufschlag dafür bezahlt ein mobile-kompatibles Device zu kaufen.
Immerhin sind für alle gängigen Anschlüsse die passenden USB-Kabel dabei und auch ein Paar Batterien.

Fazit, es tut was es soll, ist vielfältig in den Einstellmöglichkeiten und intuitiv bedienbar.
Alles in allem cooles Teil für etwas zu viel Geld
