Great out of the box. Good fretwork. Very nice tuners. Great sounding pickups. Very versatile guitar with stunning looks. No complaints!

Good value jazz guitar

I've had this a while now, no rattles nor buzzing since I first set it up. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it, well made and put together. It has a nice tone and I find it easy to play, records nicely.

Ibanez AF95FM-AYS by comparing to Ibanez AF75-BS

I've had an 'Ibanez AF75-BS' guitar for a few years, so I'm presenting the AF95FM-AYS model here by comparing it to the AF75-BS, which it resembles in many ways.
The appearance of the AF95FM-AYS guitar is remarkable, in almost every way. (It's a very beautiful guitar, in my opinion.) Also, the pickups (Super 58 humbuckers) are much more sensitive/powerful than the ones the AF75-BS originally came with.
Unfortunately, unlike the AF75-BS, the sound of the AF95FM-AYS guitar does not match the 'clean' channel of the amplifier (Vox) because there are too many high frequencies (no matter how many adjustments we make), and the acoustic response is a bit lacking in finesse. To alleviate the problem, I recommend replacing the metal bridge with a wooden one (like the 'Göldo HW155').

Une pure merveille

Achetée depuis deux mois cette guitare est bluffante, Une lutherie parfaite avec un superbe flammage de palissandre, coté son une pure merveille, avec ses hambucker 58 elle est chaude profonde à souhait, couplé pour ma part avec un DV Mark 212 combo et un câble de haute qualité Ibanez, elle donne le meilleure d'elle mème, très loin d'une guitare de débutant et rivalise sans encombre avec ses concurrentes comme l'Epihone Jo Pass et meilleure que mon Epihone ES 335 Cherry de 1970. Pour le reste rien à redire, action et diapason nickel. les mécanique sont précises, à voir la tenue dans le temps.
Je conseil le Thomann Jumbo/Jazz Koffer Tweed pour la transporter et qui la laisse loin des poussières des des risques de coups des transports. Un petit peu grand mais facile à caler.
Pour Jouer ou rejouer du jazz Standard avec un vrai son sans se ruiner, il n'y a pas à hésiter, cela sera un achat sans risque qui ouvrira pour certain une nouvelle dimension musicale. Merci à Thomann pour la rapidité, efficacité et qualité de ses envoies. JP (France)
