Its main competitor is the K&M trumpet stand, I switched to this one for something with a smaller diameter so I could avoid storing it in the bell of my horn in my case. It's a little heavier than the K&M stand but not enough to notice day-to-day.

Very stable, never had my trumpet fall even when struck by a rogue foot or two.

My stand came with a slight discoloured thread, not sure if its rust or the coating on the metal.

Peu encombrant, il semble qu'il soit moins solide que le K&M à 5 jambes, mais celui ci est lourd et encombrant et en convient pas aux trompettes à gros pavillon.

Le K&M abime les pavillons trop larges (Calicchio 3, et je suppose d'autres comme Schilke Handcraft tous dérivés du pavillon de la Martin Committee large bore) avec contact du pavillon sur la partie basse dure du stand.

Avec le petit Hercules ce n'est pas le cas car le contact du pavillon se fait sur la partie gainée de plastique des 5 jambes.

Comme avec tous les stands, je déconseille fortement de les laisser dans le pavillon de la trompette lors du transport car il ne sont jamais parfaitement immobilisés dans le pavillon et j'ai vu plusieurs fois les dégâts occasionnés par des stands laissés dans les pavillons : multiples dings venant de l'intérieur du pavillon.

Dans ces conditions la petite taille du Hercules est intéressante.

A manier avec douceur pour ne pas l'abimer !
