Ideal for every player

I didn't review this item immediately for the same reason you wouldn't review a book the day you bought it. Also, being something of a novice, I wasn't really sure how to appraise a piece of sheet music.
Having spent time with this score at my keyboard, I'd like to offer a few comments.
The price is very good, although you might want to order it in conjunction with other items otherwise the shipping charge might outweigh the item price.
The music is very clear to read, has plenty of expression markings and fingering suggestions where required.
No pedal markings are included which is maybe a little surprising as the first arabesque is well known for the amount of pedal use. I wouldn't consider this to be a reason to not choose this score, however.
All in all, very pleased with my purchase.

Ausgabe in gewohnter Henle-Qualität

Henle steht für klare und authentisch dargestellte Urtexte. Auch hier wird der Leser/Spieler mittels einer kurzen Einleitung mit Hintergründen der Komposition/Ausgabe vertraut gemacht. Ein umfangreiches Bemerkungsregister sowie die Übersetzung der Vortrags- und Tempobezeichnungen runden die Gesamterscheinung ab.

Über die vorgschlagenen Fingersätze lässt sich trefflich streiten, so findet man diese nich immer im erwarteten Ablauf vor, machen jedoch bei genauerer Betrachtung durchaus Sinn. Jedoch mag man davon ausgehen, dass Hans-Martin Theopold hier sicherlich als Maßstab anzusehen ist.

Das Arrangement hätte ich gerne nicht bewertet, da es sich hier um eine Urtext-Ausgabe handelt, entweder man mag Debussy und dessen Arrangements oder eben nicht. Da eine Nicht-Bewertung nicht möglich ist, vergebe ich die vollen 5 Sterne.
