Harley Benton Guitar MAX Fusion Signature HO

Comprata perché esteticamente mi piaceva molto e perché aveva tutto ciò che volevo e questo prezzo (500E) penso ne valga la pena. Dal vivo la chitarra la trovo veramente bella e ben fatta, l'acero cotto e fiammato è veramente di bel effetto, peccato che il manico sia molto più grosso di quello che mi aspettavo e che la prima corda tenda ad uscire nonostante le regolazioni e gli aggiustamenti al manico. Il ponte tiene molto bene l'accordatura mentre i pick up sono decenti, ma non eccezionali (sono splittabili). Non capisco invece la scelta di non mettere i tasti, ho dovuto rimediare facendomeli installare dal liutaio. In conclusione, una chitarra che fa la sua figura, specialmente in questa colorazione olografica, peccato per qualche pecca

After setting the guitar up for lower action and making some small adjustments it plays wonderfully. Coming from a schecter omen 6 this feels like a huge upgrade to me. The only thing i might change is the pickups. The finish looks incredible but keep in mind it will only look like that when light falls directly onto the guitar. Plays great, feels great, could be worth more than 1.000€ probably. Im pretty sure if you change the pickups you won't need another guitar. Maybe my only issue is not having fretboard inlays but you get used to it after a couple of days.

I own two Guitar MAX fusions. They are everything I hoped. The Holoflash is exceptional and needed nothing other than my usual string change and FR adjustments for my gauge of strings. Everything about a Harley Benton is underrated. EVERYTHING. From the Roasted flame maple necks to the Tesla pickups. That is why I pay to have my favorite HB guitars sent to the USA. I want to start by saying this review is completely honest and based only on my personal experience playing guitars.
I ordered the Harley Benton Guitar MAX Fusion Signature HO on February 9th, and it took about 2.5 weeks to arrive. I chose express delivery, but unfortunately in Kazakhstan the shipping was delayed — UPS didn’t work very well locally. That’s more of a shipping company issue though.
Now about the guitar itself — I honestly did not expect it to be this good.
Out of the box, it was already set up and ready to play. Everything felt right immediately. I still took it to a guitar technician just to be sure, but he barely had to adjust anything — just a slight tweak of the truss rod and pickup height. That’s it.
The guitar itself is absolutely amazing.
First of all — it’s extremely comfortable. The neck feels incredible in the hand. I have relatively large hands, and this neck shape fits me perfectly. I previously owned a Fusion III, and this one has a slightly wider neck, which makes it much more comfortable for me.
The second thing that impressed me was the sound. It’s completely different — a different level, a different atmosphere, and noticeably higher quality. You just plug it in, and immediately hear that it’s something special.
Build quality is also excellent. There are no flaws, nothing sharp, nothing uncomfortable — everything feels clean and well-made. The guitar arrived in perfect condition.
I really enjoy playing it. It feels great every time I pick it up.
