Incredible Guitar

After setting the guitar up for lower action and making some small adjustments it plays wonderfully. Coming from a schecter omen 6 this feels like a huge upgrade to me. The only thing i might change is the pickups. The finish looks incredible but keep in mind it will only look like that when light falls directly onto the guitar. Plays great, feels great, could be worth more than 1.000€ probably. Im pretty sure if you change the pickups you won't need another guitar. Maybe my only issue is not having fretboard inlays but you get used to it after a couple of days.

Possibly the best bang for the buck!

I own two Guitar MAX fusions. They are everything I hoped. The Holoflash is exceptional and needed nothing other than my usual string change and FR adjustments for my gauge of strings. Everything about a Harley Benton is underrated. EVERYTHING. From the Roasted flame maple necks to the Tesla pickups. That is why I pay to have my favorite HB guitars sent to the USA. KEEP IT UP Harley Benton and Thomann!

Wow ! What a guitar

First Harley Benton for me and after reading all the glorious reviews thought I needed to try one and so glad I did. Bought the Holoflash Max Signature to satisfy my 80's cravings. I've owned a lot of the higher end brands and the neck is comparable to a £3500 guiat I had before. Slick and fast. Well appointed pick ups and hardware and feels great. Just seen the new Hot Rod guitar that's just been launched and will be waiting for new colours of that to appear and then purchase.

Harley Benton MAX Fusion - Better than you'd expect...

As a traditional and faithful Tele / Strat / Les Paul player, I felt like I had to scratch the itch of the famed 'Super Strat'. Without knowing if I'd like the concept or not, I went for this 'budget' MAX fusion model; based on the impressive specs and overall value for money.

Upon delivery, the guitar was perfectly in tune, which is the whole idea of locking tuners! The overall fit and finish is impeccable with no sharp edges or imperfections. The only downside was that the frets were desperate for a polish as they felt very dry. Otherwise, the guitar was good to go.

I love the C profile neck, which is unusual to have such a chunky neck on a shredder. Moreover, the Tesla pickups have so much attack and depth, but at the flick of a switch, they're a pair of delicate, snappy, single coils.

It doesn't like to be moved around on its initial factory set up, so between home and studio, it likes to drop its tuning. However, this will be down to a 'poor' set up. The Dragon Skin strings are meaty but still allow for plenty of movement up and down the neck.

For this price point, you cannot be disappointed. I'd compare this to a sub £1000 Ibanez / Kramer or indeed any other of a similar nature.
