Harley Benton Amarok-7 BKNT Flame Burst

Questa chitarra a 7 corde è senza dubbio un ottimo strumento, e ogni euro speso è stato ben investito!

Cosa mi piace:
Suono: potente e definito, ideale per diversi generi.
Manico: sorprendentemente comodo, il passaggio da una 6 a una 7 corde è stato naturale, anche essendo la mia prima sette corde.
Versatilità: mantiene accordature differenti senza problemi.
Action: leggermente migliorabile, ma già di buon livello.
Pick-up attivi con opzione passiva: anche se richiedono alimentazione, la chitarra può comunque suonare con un output inferiore in caso di batteria scarica. Una sicurezza in più!
Cosa non mi piace:
L’unico vero difetto che mi ha fatto innervosire è il vano batteria: i cavi della batteria da 9V sono così corti che sostituirla diventa un’impresa titanica. È assurdo che su uno strumento di questa qualità si cada in dettagli così evitabili. Basterebbe davvero poco da parte di Benton per risolvere questa piccola, ma fastidiosa, pecca.

Detto questo, rimane una chitarra eccellente!

La chitarra é arrivata dopo 3 giorni dall'ordine, in perfette condizioni. Già con un discreto setup e le corde praticamente nuove.
La chitarra é qualitativamente straordinaria per il costo che ha.
Le rifiniture sono eccezionali, zero sbavature. Nessun minimo difetto.
Ho messo 4 stelle sulle caratteristiche solo perché pensavo che il manico fosse un pó più sottile, ma va bene benissimo così.
Meccaniche, Pickup EMG, legni.. tutto eccezionale per 550€.
Stra consigliata.

In a nutshell: it's a steal for a price and there might be minor issues with finish or fretwork, but you can't find a better option in this price range!

EMG 70's can be both a pro or a con, I found it quite a matter of taste.

Mine doesn't have any flaws, I'm quite lucky and happy about it.

I've never had such a guitar crush before. But I'm in love the Amarok model since I saw it on Harley Benton's page. I also own an Ibanez RGA in the similar price range and comparing the 2 guitars the RGA is a bit of disappointment. The Amarok came with perfect intonation, I just had to adjust the truss rod a bit.

I really love the neck profile. I have extremely small hands and fingers, but it plays well. It’s a slim modern C type - it’s a bit thicker than Ibanez necks but still comfortable to play, it's more like a Shecter-ish neck.

Clean sound is oookay, but this thing is to shred.

In this price range these Amarok models are unbeatable. You can complain that the pickups are not good enough or there are minor flaws regarding the finish. But you can’t really get better for this price on the market.
