I recently purchased a renowned kit and ordered a renown snare with it and I thought I'd write a review on it. The built quality on the renown snare is amazing it has 302 hoops and 7-ply shells which make it sound great and it is a very versatile snare that does high, mid, or low tuning based on what you prefer and doesn't require a switch of heads every time.

Excellente caisse claire. Que ce soit très tendue ou en low pitch, le son est vraiment très convaincant. La caisse claire tient très bien l'accord. Aucune harmonique disgrâcieuse. Très vivante et très réactive sous la baguette. Les subtilités du jeux sont très bien restituées. Info très utile à mon sens : je n'ai absolument aucun besoin de matsound ou e-ring ou gaffer ou tout autre procédé pou mater le son. Le rendu est vraiment très musical en l'état.
