Gravity GS LS 01 NH B Glow Stand

For the price, this stand is incredibly disappointing.

It looks great, 100%, but I can only fit a couple of my guitars on it. I have a Squier Telecaster and a Squier Stratocaster and neither of these guitars fit on the stand. I was genuinely shocked that two of the most common and popular guitars/guitar shapes don’t fit on the stand at all.

The Telecaster just slips right through the grip on the stand, and the Stratocaster can’t be put in without the guitar turning sidewards.

It looks great when you can actually find a guitar that fits on it, but for €159 it’s ridiculous that you can’t fit some of the most common guitar types on it.

The headstock has to be big, and evenly shaped on both sides, otherwise it’s just not possible.

Also a warning that came on the box was that it’s not suitable for use with guitars that have nitrocellulose finishes. So if you have an expensive Fender or Gibson, you literally can’t put those guitars on it at all.

Everything on the Thomann side of things was great. Shipped fast, and arrived fast and was packaged well, as always. No complaints here whatsoever.

TL;DR - looks great but it’s 50/50 whether or not your guitars will actually fit on it.

When the stand arrived for the first time, it did not function at all. I returned it and ordered another one. Luckily the second stand is functional so far. The quality of the build seems more or less fine, although certainly not premium. The biggest issue with the stand is its controls - it’s absolutely not intuitive. The sensors should have been at least powered by small LEDs or even just be buttons instead of sensors, as the font is black, and it’s absolutely not possible to see anything written there and as a result, it is difficult to find the sensors. But aside from that, when I finally got it to work, it is a very beautiful stand with a guitar on it. I hope it won’t break in a few days or months. Maybe they will release a better quality version in the future but so far they have lots to work on.

Ein Gitarrenständer der leuchtet... Cool.
Preis finde ich etwas übertrieben aber ist definitiv ein einzigartiges Teil. Doch Vorsicht! Gitarren die keine gleichmäßige Kopfplatte haben (z.b. Fender Strat oder auch diverse Metalgitarren) hängen schief in dem Ständer. Funktioniert am besten mit Les Paul ähnlichen Kopfplatten.
Bedienung ist anfangs etwas fummelig.
Beleuchtung sieht Klasse aus.
Ob ich wieder einen Ständer kaufe wo nur eine Gitarre drin hängen kann und dieser dann auch an die 160€ kostet wage ich zu bezweifeln aber sieht definitiv cool aus und den einmaligen Kauf bereue ich auch nicht ;)

Ursprünglich fand ich das Teil ganz gut, wenngleich der Verpackungsaufwand für einen Gitarrenständer leider unverhältnismäßig ist. Die Sensorsteuerung ist aber meiner Meinung nach wirklich ein Designfehler. Was als tolles, innovatives Feature gedacht ist, stellt sich leider als hakelig und - wie ich nun weiß - wohl auch Störanfällig heraus. Es gibt auch nirgends eine gescheite Anleitung, wie genau man die Geisterhand auf dem Sensorbereich bewegen muss. Jedenfalls macht das Ding nach nicht mal einem halben Jahr bei mir keinen Mucks mehr. Beim Auseinanderbauen für den Retourenversand (wieder eine riesen Verpackung :( hat es noch mal kurz aufgeleuchtet. Danach kriegte ich es aber nicht mehr zum Laufen.
