Very good cabinet

I compared a lot of cabinets and combo's and this cabinet was one of the best.. Its clean but also okay low end, not very compressed in sound like some others are. I personally liked the use of an ampeg combo more, the low end '"flows'' better in a room, despite ampeg having less high end.

One big advice: Don't assume things because you read things online or listened to youtube demo's, the result and sound of a cabinet heavily depends on the AMP you use (some even made this cabinet sound really dull)

Its a matter of finidng the amp and cabinet combination that 'speaks' to you the most, don't listen to others opinions, listen to your feeling and also beware of what you actually need.. ( playing at home or in a jazz band or pop/rock band, all can require different sounds and volumes.. )

:-) Maybe i will try this cabinet again when i am in another 'Finding ideal bass sound mood"

Habe eine kleine kompakte Bassbox gesucht und mit der GR Bass Cube gefunden. Trotz der geringen Größe und Gewichts (11,5 kg) hat die Box mächtig Power und liefert den für 12er Speaker bekannten Tiefmittigen
Punch und den reichlich.Das Hochtonhorn arbeitet dezent und gibt dem Sound einen angenehmen, nicht harschen Höhenanteil.
Die Box schafft es für Proberaum und kleinere Clubgigs easy auch allein.
Kürzlich gerade mit Kontrabass ausprobiert.
Die Box wurde 2 Tage nach Bestellung schon geliefert, da ist Thomann wirklich schnell.
Wer also eine kleine, leichte und powervolle Box sucht ist mit der
GR Cube 112-4 gut bedient.
