Perfect for a U-Bass

I bought this at the same as I ordered the HB Spalted Maple UkeBass as I felt I needed a thumb rest and did not want to glue or screw one on permanently.
As the thumb rest clips over the sound hole, I did wonder if this would restrict playing close to the bridge, but it gives adequate coverage of whichever area you want to play.
The rest has a small amount of padded felt on one side, so you can be assured it won't leave any markings on your instrument if you remove it.
In my opinion, the pricing is a little on the steep side for something so simple, but there isn't anything on the market that I could find which does the same thing - and what it does, it does well.

Coming from an electric bass, this thumb rest came in really handy when I bought an acoustic bass guitar.
Grips the guitar really well, without damaging it

I bought for my bass ukelele. I think is useful. Sometimes I feel is a little far from the strings, but I am happy. I think does the job

Utilisation :
Pour ma MicroBass 25 fretless GoldTone , étant à la base joueur de basse électrique et donc ayant l’habitude de poser mon pouce sur le micro

Avantages et inconvénients :
Facile à mettre en place , tiens bien et de bonne qualité. J’ai essayé de le mettre et de l’enlever plusieurs fois , bonne nouvelle il n’abîme pas la rosace . Par contre vu que c’est attaché à la rosace on se trouve finalement assez loin de la corde de Mi contrairement au micro d’une basse électrique qui se trouve juste au dessus de la corde de Mi . Mais bon je ne pense pas qu’on puisse faire autrement.
Donc content de mon achat mais demande un petit temps d’adaptation
