Overpriced

Just like any other Gibson product I've had, this is a very high quality part. However, I don't understand why it costs twice as much as some other alternatives that I've seen. Surely, for people who need a retrofit for one of the vintage Gibsons in their collection, this may be the most period-correct part on the market (after all, it is made by the same company that made the originals), but for the more sensible musicians who just need a quality replacement, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives that aren't in any way inferior to this product. I think its high price is unjustified.

I got these as a replacement/spare for one of my Gibsons.
They just look perfect, absolutely indistinguishable. They fitted perfectly, which was to be expected from a genuine part. Can't go wrong with that.
I totally recommend these original spares from Gibson.

the quality is fine,but sadly for me the spacing of the holes were not correct for my epi sg-g400.......so i had to fill in the existing holes and start over...i was advised to go for the 'dearer' type hum/frames as the cheaper ones break easy---so i did,but i was at a loss as my guitar is a 'gibson' why they did not fit straight on to my guitar?............
